Michelle Tagliaferri, RPA-C is a Rome, NY native who has served the dermatology needs of patients in the Utica area for more than 15 years. Michelle Tagliaferri works in our Utica, NY office. Michelle Tagliaferri is a 1998 graduate from Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y., where she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. After completing her studies at Hamilton, Michelle Tagliaferri entered LeMoyne College in Syracuse, N.Y., where in 2001 she graduated from the physician assistant program. Michelle Tagliaferri is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and AAPA.
Katie Weber LPN, MA, grew up in Binghamton, NY. Katie Weber utilizes many years of valuable experience from the beauty industry along with two plastic surgery practices and cosmetic dermatology. Katie Weber is duel licensed in aesthetic skin treatments and nursing. Katie Weber is the primary provider of the following aesthetic treatments: Microdermabrasion’s, Micro-Needling with PRP therapy, Chemical Peels and Micro peels. Katie Weber is skilled and very experienced in using non-invasive medical lasers for laser hair reduction, destruction of vascular lesions, telangiectasia’s and spider veins. The use of dynamic light treatments for rosacea, actinic keratosis, solar lentigos and sun damage. Katie Weber also runs the XTRAC laser for the treatment of psoriasis and vitiligo. Katie Weber also uses the latest and state of art, cutting edge, FDA cleared CoolSculpting, Ultherapy, Miradry and Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy(PRP). PRP is showing extraordinaire promise for collagen remolding, scar revision and hair restoration. Melissa Mele-Delgado is a Buffalo native who received her Adult Health Nurse Practitioner degree from Daemen College. Melissa went on to advance her education by completing the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree as one of the first cohorts in the Western New York region. She comes to Southern Tier Dermatology with experience in endocrinology, rheumatology, and several years of dermatology. Her doctoral research in the field of dermatology, specifically psoriasis, led her to focus on autoimmune skin conditions. She also enjoys all aspects of dermatology including the aesthetic component, and was trained by a reputable plastic surgeon in dermal fillers and neurotoxins. Melissa is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and is an outdoor enthusiast in her free time which she spends with her husband and children.
Patrick Crandell is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant who was born and raised in the Binghamton area. He obtained his M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) and began his medical career in 2013. He practiced Emergency Medicine for 5 years before joining Southern Tier Dermatology & Aesthetics in 2018. He is an enthusiastic member of the team and is dedicated to providing great care for his patients. He prides himself on explaining topics thoroughly and clearly to each and every patient. Patrick’s interests include skin cancer screening, surgical biopsies, infectious disease and other common skin ailments. He resides in Binghamton with his wife and their daughter. Outside of work he enjoys being a parent, athletics, travel, and the culture and cuisine of the Southern Tier.

Lyndsey Carlson is a Jamestown native who received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA. She then went on to earn a Bachelor and Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, graduating with honors, from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY. Prior to joining Southern Tier Dermatology and Aesthetics, Lyndsey practiced pediatric medicine for over 6 years. She is excited to provide dermatological services to patients in the Jamestown area.
